In it, Maris posted photos of her ethereal ensemble by Filipino designer Marc Rancy during the ABS-CBN Ball 2023 which bears a striking resemblance to the evening gown worn by newly-crowned Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios.

Maris and Sheynnis' gowns both featured bright blue shawl sleeves, though the former wore a predominantly nude dress while the latter chose a pearly white color. Both looked gorgeous, though!
The actress and singer took to social media to show off her behind-the-scenes fitting for the ABS-CBN Ball which happened last September 30, 2023.
Of course, netizens couldn't help but notice the resemblance between the two gowns, resulting in funny Instagram comments under Maris' post.
