François Hollande, President of the French Republic, dropped in yesterday to meet with the Philippines' Climate Change Commission for a partnership to fight global warming. He was met by other members of the government at Malacañang Palace for the launch of the Manila Call to Action on Climate Change, at which he was accompanied by Oscar winner Marion Cotillard. Coming straight from the Villamor Airbase, she wore a Parisian uniform: Breton striped shirt, trousers, and blazer.

Surrounded by guests in barongs and evening gowns, she took to the podium with a few words of support for the France-Philippines partnership. "We need to be responsible about what happens & we need to do something about it," said Cotillard in French, as reported by ANC

Cotillard is one of the artists featured in the remake of the Australian rock band Midnight Oil’s “Beds are Burning,” a campaign by TckTckTck against climate change.

Clearly the girl couldn’t be bothered to slip into a gown, like that white eyelet Dior she wore at the Oscars. But soon after the speech was over, she quickly changed into a black striped lace dress for the State Dinner held at Malacañang's Rizal Hall.

You just keep being you, Marion.
