Marian Rivera is ready to strut and shine as one of the judges for the Miss Universe international pageant to be held at Eilat, Israel. The actress, who arrived two days ago at the venue, was accompanied by her husband Dingdong Dantes and her trusted glam team.
Not to be outshined by all the gorgeous attendees coming from different countries (including supermodel Adriana Lima, entertainment host Adamari Lopez, and our very own Beatrice Gomez who will represent the Philippines in the prestigious beauty pageant), Marian has reportedly brought in a total of 10 suitcases for the event, housing 20 outfit choices for pre-pageant activities.
In an interview with Nelson Canlas, Marian’s stylist Melville Sy shared that we can all expect the actress to show up dressed to the nines—whether the event calls for a flashy number or a discreet ensemble. More importantly, most of the clothes were designed by local designers, putting the spotlight on Filipino artistry to be showcased in front of a global audience.
Marian's OOTN for the event itself will be a gown created by renowned designer Francis Libiran, which was even hand-carried to avoid it getting damaged inside the luggage during the flight.
As for the beauty department, Marian’s makeup artist Steven Deloso is excited to bring his idea to life. He didn’t elaborate any further but teased that Marian’s look will definitely be one to watch. “Rest assured she’s gonna be a stunner and head-turner sa gala night,” he says.
We can’t wait to see you slay your Miss Universe looks, Marian!
