Last February 21 marked the inaugural Philippine Arts, Film, and Television Awards (PAFTA), which is an SEC-registered arts and cultural institution that honors excellence and individual distinction through awards, workshops, and talent programs that elevate Filipino creativity locally and internationally.
Among the winners was Marian Rivera, who took home the trophy for Modern Grand Slam Best Actress. She won for her portrayal of Emmy in the film Balota, which explores the story of a teacher who finds herself in a dangerous situation during the local elections.
Marian Rivera Accepts PAFTA in a Stunning Red Filipiniana
Embodying the quintessential modern Filipina, Marian wore a beautiful red Filipiniana creation by Steph Tan. Styled by Melville Sy of Studio 24C, the stunning dress features embellishments on the sleeves and structured bust, and draping that gathers towards the waist.
Marian carried the Bulgari Serpentine Top Handle Bag and sported a chic updo, which was styled by Nantey West. For the makeup, Juan Sarte III opted for clean and minimal—defined brows and eyes, flushed cheeks, and a glossy pink lip.
Congratulations, Marian!
