Aside from Margot Robbie’s enviable gorgeousness, we found another reason to place her name on our already long list of #goals: She’s got effortless style. The Aussie actress has been spotted these past few days on the streets of New York City, probably to promote her latest film Suicide Squad, which is out in theaters today.
Her love for classic feminine dresses in fit-and-flare shapes and boho pieces (which make her look like an off-duty-model) totally offsets her role as Harley Quinn, the badass female member of the anti-hero group. Apparently, Margot is not a big fan of her character's costume—a tight white shirt, varsity jacket, and glittery hot pants with fishnet stockings with a bit of her booty doing a peek-a-boo.
Check out how this on-screen bad girl shows off her good girl style off-screen.
1. Murder by Monochromes
Looking every bit of a celebrity on-the-go, Margot rocks a black-and-white off-shouldered Rosetta Getty dress with a red lip as her accent. Her single-strap heels were a simple yet elegant touch. If the old Hollywood glamour look got an update, this would be it.
2. Boho Beast
Harley Quinn would never approve of this refined casual look, but Margot surely does. Spotted sporting this Altuzarra Priscilla floral handkerchief dress with no accessories, she proves that confidence (and perhaps another pair of strappy heels) can speak for itself.
3. Geek on Fleek
Apparently, we’re not the only ones going gaga for Gucci these days! This floral ruffled number spliced with black trim and topped with a pussy bow makes a case for grandma chic—a look that’ll leave the Suicide Squad gasping for breath.
4. Subtly Slaying
Not as dressy as her previous looks, but just as put-together! We love how she layered an otherwise very basic black slip dress with a peach floor-length cover-up.
SB Tip: Never underestimate the power of great sunnies. It’s a game-changer!
5. Fresh to Death
Isn’t this bubblegum of a look just a breath of fresh air? Take your cues from Margot and cop an all-rose ensemble just like this pink jumpsuit and shades combo. While you’re at it, throw on a pair of heels in a cherry red color that even Harley Quinn would approve of.
6. Humor Has It
She might have stunned the world with that devilish look care of her dark lip and black dress, but it’s the tongue-in-cheek detail that got us intrigued. Yes, that’s a gold prancing unicorn! The Alexander McQueen gown was the perfect ironic outfit for the good girl’s bad girl persona.
7. Quirky Queen
Along with the Suicide Squad premiere in London came another debut of sartorial proportions: Margot’s Gucci dress. Going matchy-matchy with Jared Leto who wore a green jacket by the same designer, her tiger-emblazoned dress with surreal floral appliques definitely stole the show.
