For his label, that is. After stepping down as creative director for Louis Vuitton to concentrate on his own label (still under the LVMH Group), Marc Jacobs has declared that he will be renaming his namesake label, Marc by Marc Jacobs.
He expressed his dislike for the name, and felt that this new step in his path as a brand is the right time to make things the way he wanted it to be. Although Marc hasn't revealed yet what the new label's name would be because of superstitious beliefs, he shared the major changes his label has gone through: the logo, packaging, a new flagship store with different interiors, and a more hands on approach in designing his shoes and handbags.
