Taking us back to the 1920s where donning the terno was the norm for society belles, Pablo Cabahug gives us another re-interpretation of the national costume as he turns the barong into shift dresses made for today's woman. Here, we see him make use of the piña to create ruffled strapless tops and tees, giving this classic a fresh pin that's very much wearable in today's setting. Think of it as the modern Maria Clara's wardrobe essentials, keeping bits of the past while tying it to present times.
