Lucia Josephine is an Australian label headed by Filipina-Australian designer Lucia Hatten. Despite being a three-man team, they successfully launched their first collection in the country at the Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival. Titled Renascence, Lucia Josephine's collection signals the reawakening of a "more unassuming concepts of allure." The brand was able to execute this by marrying the opulence of 1800s with the sharp tailoring of the 1900s. Renascence, is then filled with romantic frills, intricate laser cut patterns, bows, pleats, and slits that come in a delicate palette of pink, black, and white. See the entire collection below.
The Ada is an outift that can take you from day to night. It has a cropped wrap blouse featuring dramatic and textured sleeves. It's perfectly matched with box-pleated palazzo pants.
The Rosalind makes for a chic work outfit. It features a textured chiffon bustier and wrap skirt, topped off with a black satin cape.
The Emelie (left) symbolizes a woman's liberation from social norms. It features a keyhole, a yoke, and cone pleats. This trifecta of a sultry and structured look is made with an intricate mix of fabrics.
The Liese is a two-piece ensemble that bears a sweethart neckline and a trumpet dress that aims to show off a woman's form and best assets.
The Jocelyn is art in its highest form, according to the designer. It has a unique rounded silhouette, intricate custom embroidery along its feathered high neckline.
The Chien is the brand's elegant take on the classic LBD. Meanwhile, The Zelda embodies their topnotch craftsmanship. The dress has layers of shirred tulle, structured bustier, and shirred sleeves and velvet trims. On the other hand, The Margarete is opulence translated into clothes. Lucia Josephine wants this jumpsuit to exude easy glamour.
