With her perennially fun and youthful designs, Cheetah Rivera did not disappoint at this season’s Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival. The designer showcased yet another collection featuring dainty details that have become her signature—from last season's pops of hues and pleats to this season's frilly, maximalist elements.

Brightly dressed in layers and ruffles, models walked down the runway in exuberant pieces that featured shapes such as curved lines and circles, dangling seashell earrings, fringe, and lots of bowties. Paired with soft and flowing fabrics, there was a lot of play on prints and textures, as well as asymmetrical cuts and ornate accents.

Cheetah’s collection was a breath of fresh air, and a quirky break from the usually austere and urban ensembles that pervade the runway. There’s a decidedly playful and feminine look about her designs that makes the quintessential fashion statement.
