Yes, it's that time of the year again when we celebrate creativity and self-expression through designing our own pair of Havaianas. Make Your Own Havaianas (MYOH) started in 2006 and since then the beloved flip-flop brand has been fuelling the imagination and creativity of every Havaianatico.
This year, for the first time, Havaianas teams up with Filipino illustrator Dan Matutina to design the commemorative pair for 2013. The Dan Matutina + Havaianas offering will be the first glow-in-the-dark pair with a carbon-blue sole made available especially for MYOH 2013.
Another exciting thing this year: Havaianas kicks off the search for the next best design collaboration. Upon attending the MYOH event, you get the chance to submit a design to be part of You + Havaianas, their crowdsourcing campaign, with designs showcased on a special website. Winners will be determined through voting, and the winning design will be launched together with the brand's upcoming 2014 collection.
Exciting things are up ahead as Havaianas further supports imagination, creativity, and self-expression. The burning question is—Where will your imagination take you?
