Make Your Own Havaianas 2010

It's that time of the year again!
Make Your Own Havaianas 2010 It's that time of the year again!

Now on its fifth year, Make Your Own Havaianas gives Pinoy fashionistas, stylistas and Havaianaticos yet another chance to personalize your favorite flip-flops—from color to design to pins and embellishments, whatever floats your boat. And this summer, Havaianas promises a bigger, better and brighter event.

Make your Own Havaianas is happening today, April 22, 2010 until April 26, 2010 at the Rockwell Tent with an extensive color palette of Top and Slim soles and straps that you can choose from. Stylish new options include silver letter pins (spell your name on your slippers!), Swarovski pins in shapes like hearts and stars, jelly, fluorescent and glow-in-the-dark top straps. A Philippine-designed MYOH@5 Commemorative sole and pin will also be available as mementos of this ground-breaking event.

“This year, though, we can really say that we're going all out. We're celebrating the 5th installation of this trademark event in honor of all the Havaianaticos that show up each year,” says Anne Gonzalez, Managing Director of Havaianas Philippines.

Let your imagination run wild and celebrate five successful years of colorful customization with Havaianas. To learn more about this event, visit www.havaianasphilippines.com/myoh. Make sure also to watch Havaianas' very own version of the Cinderella story in the site.

It's better to come really early though, trust us. Before the doors opened today, the line was as far as Mini Shabu Shabu already!

Watch this spot as we'll be posting the scheduled appearances of celebrity slipper-making assistants. A little bird told us the likes of Luis Manzano, Brent Javier, and the Magalona girls will be dropping by.

Race you there!
