The Philippines’ most stylish gracing the halls of Fashion Week have now become the norm. But from front-row seats, style aficionados and artists have moved on up to the actual stage. Just ask Filipina queer artist Lukresia, who recently walked for Mugler at Paris Haute Couture Week!
Considered a hallmark event following the brand’s three-year runway hiatus and the passing of its founder Thierry Mugler in early 2022, the French label pulled out all the stops with a star-studded cast for its Fall/Winter 2023 showcase. Among its roster of models are American comedian Ziwe, Tobagonian-American actress Dominique Jackson, and the Cebu-based artist Lukresia.

The model-slash-designer, nicknamed @thirdworldbb on Instagram, previously made waves for their Mugler-inspired handmade creations. Now, the creative was a sight to behold on the Mugler stage, while decked-out in a tasseled number from the new collection, paired with leather trousers featuring zipped-down cutouts.

This isn’t the first time Lukresia served looks from the brand, however. Just last month, the artist flaunted Mugler's signature sheer bodysuit in a series of black-and-white shots, as lensed by Belgium-based photographer Arber Sefa.

Congrats, Lukresia!
