It seems that rapper Kanye West is on to his next fashion fight (he also had issues with Nike, Zappos, YSL designer Hedi Slimane, and friend Lenny Kravitz) as he urges his fans to boycott Louis Vuitton. According to Kanye, LV's Vice President, Yves Carcelle, rejected his invitation to meet when he was in Paris. In an interview he explained: “What happened was while I was out in Paris. I wanted to meet with the head of Louis Vuitton, and he said I don’t understand why we need to meet with you. Let me explain to you why you need to meet with me. Everybody in New York City right now don’t buy any Louis Vuitton until after January. Now do you want to meet with me? Now do you want to meet with me? Influence. They think that I don’t realize my power.”
Do you guys think all these brands failed to realize Kanye's so called "power"? Or do people care more about his relationship with Kim K. than his influence in fashion? Tweet us!
