Layering is one of the oldest tricks in the book. Tops over tops, jackets over sweaters, dress over pants—these are the usual combinations that we can easily rely on to get the most out of our wardrobe. But while perusing Zara's new campaign called Paris to Marrakesh, we noticed a chic layering hack that you can try: skirt over skirt.

In this specific look, the model is clad in the ultimate summer vacay look: linen blouse, cat-eye sunnies, strappy kitten heels, and a button-down skirt revealing a rainbow-hued pencil skirt. It's a subtle trick you can easily miss, but makes the whole look even more well-thought out. So how can you pull this off? First, choose two skirts that are both made of light material like linen so they won't look bulky. Second, opt for different lengths to create depth, and finally, mind the color and print combination so they appear seamless.
