In case you haven't heard, Kim Chiu is currently in New York along with her bestie Bela Padilla and Sam Milby. The trio is celebrating 121 years of Philippine independence at the 29th annual Philippine Parade in the Big Apple. Apart from the parade, they also walked for a fashion show that puts the spotlight on local designers. Entitled Kasayahan at Kasuotang Pinoy sa Manhattan, this year's show featured Albert Andrada and Cherry Veric.
Kim took it to her Instagram to share the news. "Happy 21st Philippine Independence Day! Had so much fun at the fashion show and had a pleasure to walk for [Albert Andrada's] beautiful creation," she captions the post. "So in love with this gown!!!"
Kim was Albert's muse for the show, strutting down the runway for the finale clad in a frothy and voluminous tulle gown that reveals a pair of brocade trousers underneath. So cool! This piece is part of Albert's—wait for it!—Alembong collection, which features fuss-free separates, dresses, and tailored trousers and tops made from Jusi fabric.
Meanwhile, Bela was Cherry's finale runway model. The young actress wore a colorful woven trench coat styled with knee-high metallic boots.
