Wearing black to a wedding is often deemed as bad luck and even rude to the bride—but this only applies when it isn't the bride herself giving the green light on black ensembles!
Case in point: Model Ann Umali's chic wedding last weekend. The bride looked gorgeous as she went the traditional route in her custom Rhett Eala frock; however, what also caught our attention was her bridesmaids going the opposite direction.
Clad in designs by Jot Losa, models Ria Bolivar, Luisa Beltran-Pua, Jasmine Maierhoffer, Fatima Rabago, and beauty queen Bianca Manalo made the case for the taboo hue. The theme? "Black, backs and bows," says the designer.
Rocking the gowns in various cuts, the bridesmaids were all picture-perfect as they displayed different takes on bow detailing, which was a totally genius touch!
Congratulations, Ann!
