Instagram has been a pedestal for both famous fashion houses and up-and-coming brands, so it’s just apt to celebrate this app.
On June 1st, 2015, Kim Kardashian will represent both fashion and media at the CFDA Awards where she will be presenting the CFDA Media Award to Instagram founder Kevin Systrom (which could also mean “thank you for giving me a platform for my selfies”). The award is usually given to journalists and critics. It’s a first for an application to be honoured.
