Fast Retailing, the parent company of Uniqlo, has announced that they will be making their highly anticipated face masks available starting tomorrow, June 19, in Japan. Uniqlo Philippines, on the other hand, has yet to announce the availability of the face mask locally.

The AIRism Mask is made from Uniqlo's AIRism technology, which features a lightweight cool-to-the-touch, fast-drying fabric that's stretchy and form-fitting, but doesn't constrict the skin. It features a triple-layer structure with a high-performance filter between the outer mesh fabric and the AIRism layer. Fast Retailing claims that the filter can block 99% of droplets, bacteria, virus-contaminated particles, and pollen. The mask will come in three sizes: small, medium, and large, so both children and adults can enjoy the same comfortable fit. According to Fast Retailing's website, the AIRism Mask will be silky smooth on the skin while offering a snug fit that feels comfortable even after long time of wearing it. It comes in packs of three and is priced at 990 yen—roughly P462 in Philippine peso.
