Longchamp’s New Tiny Tote is Just What the (Style) Doctor Ordered

Longchamp’s New Tiny Tote is Just What the (Style) Doctor Ordered We’re still crushing hard on itty-bitty bags.

Last year, the brand brought us the Mini Le Pliage, the baby version of their flag-bearer whose small frame and cross-body strap were the answer to every gal-on-the go’s requirements. (Basically, all of us.) While new skins for this are set to be out this summer—croc-embossed in a jewel pink or the LPG logo emblazoned in PVC may tickle your fancy—we enjoin you to turn your attention to this year’s highlight, the Roseau. Coming back to the future from its inception in the '90s, the classic open tote has been given a modern makeover.

Originally designed to be large enough to hold a career woman’s documents, the mini Roseau, which retails at P24,500, is a play on proportions. The bag itself has been shrunk down, while its bamboo toggle retains its large size, giving the smooth calf leather ample shine. A cute bonus is how buttons on either side of the bag can be snapped together to give its contents more security and the overall silhouette a rounded shape. And as is the case with any small purse, we know what you’re thinking and we checked: Yes, your phone, a small wallet, compact, lipstick, and keys will fit neatly in there.
