You've never seen Liza Soberano like this before. Her second cover for Preview might be her toughest one yet, and believe us when we say there's more to the 18-year old actress than just her very pretty face. We spent a few hours with Liza to shoot our October cover and she was more than thrilled to be styled in the season's coolest fashion from Vetements, Balenciaga, and J.W. Anderson.

Liza arrives fresh-faced, happy, and ready to take on the tough girl look.

Makeup artist Mickey See kept it all natural. He used foundation that's two to three shades darker to contour. He also opted to simply use mascara and no eyeliner for a barely there stare.

The Preview team was full force...even while putting on Liza's shoes!

Liza actually loved this look a lot because it reminded her a lot of Kendall Jenner a.k.a. her #girlcrush!

From one bomber jacket to another! In this look, she donned a Sacai bomber over a Rosetta Getty dress.

Time for a change! We weren't actually supposed to push through with this messy shaggy bob, but Liza insisted and said "Kaya yan ni Renz ng 15 minutes!" And when our cover girl is excited about drastic beauty looks like this, it definitely fires us up, too!

Hair stylist Renz Pangilinan braided Liza's actual hair first and set it with pins before putting on the wig. He had to trim it to achieve a chic haphazard cut.

She was actually wearing pointy-toed stiletto booties with those jeans.

Liza wore the sweater this way as soon as she came out of the dressing room, and we thought, "That's cute! And very fashion girl!" So we shot it.

This is the sweater Liza wanted to take home, stat! Luckily it's available at Univers.

We still remember our first cover shoot with Liza when we asked her to make faces. The difference? She's gotten even better (and prettier) at it.

Mickey See insisted on the dark lip, and we realized that nothing is ever too much or will end up "ugly" on Liza Soberano.

That's a wrap! Stay tuned for our BTS reel with Liza where she takes you through this month's cover story herself!
