Liza Soberano is no stranger to donning head-turning red carpet looks. Known for her refined style with an edgy twist, it's no surprise that Liza walked down the red (or should we say gold?) carpet last May 22 in a stunning all-black number!
The actress graced Gold House’s 1st Annual Gold Gala in Los Angeles along with fellow showbiz actor and now international artist James Reid. ICYDK, Gold House is a non-profit organization with the goal of uplifting Asian American personalities in entertainment, athletics, and entrepreneurship.

For her gala look, the actress was a vision in black in a custom Anthony Ramirez creation! As a way to show that she was representing the Philippines, her stylist Perry Tabora dressed her in an all-black look with a unique take on the Filipino terno: the butterfly sleeves was an ode to the traditional Filipino frock while its sheer fabric, corset-style bodice, and electric-pleated skirt gave her entire look a sultry and modern touch.
In line with featuring local Filipino designers for her ensemble, her sparkling diamond tennis necklace and matching earrings were from the jeweler Tessera Jewelry; she also carried an elegant black minaudiere by Cebauano designer Neil Felipp San Pedro. The clutch's handle features a school of fish that's actually inspired by the famous sardine run in Moalboal, Cebu.
With a face as angelic as Liza’s, the star needed only minimal makeup. Her look for the night reminds us of Tiktok's "clean" makeup look trend, with makeup artist Pircilla Pae pulling focus on perfecting Liza's bushy brows and finishing the look with a glossy lip. Her hairstyle was also kept straightforward with a middle-parted look by hairstylist Cortney Housner.
You looked stunning, Liza!
