While the whole country was clad in nothing but "ugly Christmas sweaters" and matching pajama sets this holiday season, Liza Soberano went another direction, albeit one that was more stylish and discreet. For Christmas, the actress was spotted wearing a black Balenciaga sweater emblazoned with a gold logo. She paired it with bleached raw-edge jeans and (gasp) plain old black socks. Basically, Liza's "fashown" sweater choice is proof that she's too cool to subscribe to the norm.
Liza spent Christmas with her family and Enrique Gil in Los Angeles, California. According to Pep.ph, the two will be going to Hawaii for New Year's and will be spending it with Enrique's family.
Not only was this outfit an atypical way to don "Christmas sweaters" but it's also a very laidback, edgy side of Liza that we're not used to seeing. The actress is typically dressed to the nines in ultra-feminine fare, so this cozy Christmas look is quite refreshing.
Just in case you were interested in copping the same sweater, it costs around P31,547 and you can shop it here. The crewneck wool sweater is one of Balenciaga's many logomania renditions. More recent designs feature the logo printed across the entire sweater, while other designs feature the Paris motif as a nod to the brand's motherland.
