Liza Soberano just hit the big 2-5, and what better way to celebrate it than with a performance in the City of Angels?
The musician and budding Hollywood star rang in her 25th birthday by gifting her followers with a quick peek of an upcoming video with her label Careless, shot in location at California’s Joshua Tree Park.

Through the lens of LA- and New York-based photographer Ksu Teterina a.k.a. Kseniya and the creative direction of Kimi Felices, the birthday gal posed with the well-known national park as her backdrop, as she served as a visual contrast amid the landscape’s more muted winter colors.
The actress fused hardcore and glitz in a combo of leather and metallics, styled by musician favorite Katie Qian, whose previous clientele includes Conan Gray, Tinashe, NIKI, and Rina Sawayama. Layering a white bralette top with an oversized jacket, Liza also sported a metallic skirt from Italian brand Byblos with a pair of knee-high cowboy boots and Rare Romance earrings as the icing on the cake.
The beauty department didn’t miss a beat, either. The performer went on a cutting-edge route from her usual loose tresses with full bangs and braids, under the hands of Hollywood hairstylist Rikke Gajda. Keeping up with the edgy look, makeup artist Nikki DeRoest opted for a golden graphic eyeliner topped with dark hues and glossy lips.
“Thank you everyone for all the birthday greetings. Especially to my family, friends, Lizanianz, Lizaviors, and Lizquen back home who have been there for me since day one,” Liza captioned her post.
“I’m eternally grateful for each and every one of you. I wish I could be with all of you today to celebrate how far we’ve all come just like we used to but for now I hope I can continue making you all proud! I love you and can’t wait for what’s in store this 2023. I promise to work harder and become better with each day that passes.”
According to her Instagram post, the special live performance was filmed in December, with the full video expected to release in the coming days.
