Liz Uy For Plains & Prints The celebrity stylist and fashion icon is now the new face of Plains & Prints.

Plains & Prints recently launched their newest collection along with the newest face to represent the brand and it’s none other than our very own Liz Uy!

Liz has been working with Plains & Prints as a stylist for all their campaigns for the past six years and now, the tables have turned. “Liz is young and very much involved with her career,” says the brand's Creative Director, Rhett Eala, making her the perfect endorser for the brand. After years of working on the brand's ad campaigns, she knows the quintessential Plains & Prints lady well, and yes, her style embodies that too.

"I don't know how it happened! But it just happened!" was Liz's reply when we asked her about her newest endorsement. She stepped out from behind the scenes and into the camera's line of vision at the right time in her life—her second cover for Preview is out on newsstands, her followers on social media continue to grow, and her career as a stylist is at its healthiest.

As for the collection, Rhett shared that Africa was the main inspiration for the designs and he translated this into three themes: Morocco, Modern Africa and Safari. You'll find that colors take on the rich tangerines and ochres of a desert sunset mixed with oasis blues. Even tailored pieces take on these earth colors. As for prints, he's abstracted from ethnic patterns, magnified and posterized feathers, as well as color-blocked in pseudo-tribal shapes. We especially like the crafty touch a macramé collar gives a striped halter dress that's sure to get swept up by many a regular customer.
