Outgoing Vice President Leni Robredo was dressed to the nines for her last day in office—in pink, no less.
Instead of her usual rose garb, the politician donned a deeper hue of her Presidential campaign color. She swore in public officials and bid her goodbyes to staff in a red-violet midi dress, which featured terno-style sleeves and a pink sash. Finishing off her look, she wore nude T-strap heels and a silver pendant necklace.
The Angat Buhay program founder's daughters Aika, Tricia, and Jllian Robredo were also in attendance for the send-off. They recreated a photo they took on their mother's first day in office in 2016. Aika and Tricia even had a twinning moment in printed blue tops and black trousers!
After attending to official business and a motorcade around New Manila, Atty. Robredo was saluted by military personnel as she exited the OVP's premises for the last time.
She wore more pink looks on the days leading up to the 29th. In a pink trench dress last June 27, the lawyer threw a thanksgiving event for all the OVP staff and led the oath-taking ceremony of Senator Risa Hontiveros. On the 24th, she swore in more public officials in another stylish pink midi frock.
With her term as Vice President over, Atty. Leni Robredo has promised to continue her public service through a non-government organization named after her anti-poverty program, Angat Buhay. Needless to say, her parading in pink-themed looks seem to be far from over.
