On one sunny day in Sydney, Australia, Leila Alcasid married her long-time partner, Mito Fabie, also known as the rapper Curtismith. The couple marked the milestone on May 29, 2025 through an intimate garden wedding, where they were surrounded by their loved ones. The ceremony was followed by a charming reception at Chiswick, where the guests enjoyed a feast of modern Australian cuisine.

Martin Bautista on the Idea Behind the Wedding Dress
In an exclusive conversation with Preview, Martin Bautista shared the thoughts and details that led to the off-white creation that captured Leila’s simplicity and effortless nature.
"The idea is to create a dress that has a simplistic beauty to it, but has that subtle bridal spirit to it, since I know this is going to be for an intimate wedding—designed to compliment, flatter Leila’s figure and frame her beautiful face," the fashion designer said.

The sleeveless dress had a high neckline, hugged Leila’s figure with elegance, and flowed as she walked down the garden and towards the love of her life. Completing the ensemble were a cape train and a draped waist with knotted details, a thoughtful choice for their most-awaited day of tying the knot.
Martin used ivory Italian crepe for the body in order to achieve this. As for the ethereal details, "I draped this beautiful creme stretch tulle around the neckline that flows around the shoulder as a cape. I used the same material draped around the the skirt coming from her hips."

With a clear vision and exciting energy, it only took two fittings for Martin and Leila to complete the bridal look.

To style, Leila opted for a pair of triangle toe heels, complete with pearl details on their straps. In her hands were a minimalist and beautiful bouquet of pink calla lilies. With makeup that was barely there, and hair that was styled half-up and half-down, she looked nothing short of a glowing newlywed.
