Spoiler: It's for a good cause.

Now before you react, let's get this straight: Lacoste isn't getting rid of their iconic green crocodile forever. This logo change is completely temporary, and is being done for a good cause!

At their latest fashion show in Paris, the French brand launched a limited edition collection of polos without its iconic reptile logo emblazoned on each shirt. Instead, the pieces were embroidered with 10 different endangered species to highlight the rare animals' dwindling numbers.

Here's the catch: these special polos are scarce, since the number for sale correspond to how many of these animals still exist. For example, there will only be 30 pieces available for the Vaquita, 67 for the Javan Rhino, and 450 for the Ground Iguana. Crunching the numbers together, only 1775 of these rare polos will be sold!

That said, your search for these pieces will for sure be worthwhile. Profit from every sale will be donated to the International Union for Conservation of Nature's (IUCN) preservation efforts.

Interested? Then head over to Lacoste's website to secure one for yourself!
