Last Friday, Manila welcomed Lacoste Live with a fun, vibrant, and youthful party held in Whitespace Manila. The place was transformed into an activity-filled event with booths for food and games.
The party's vibe set the mood for the fashion show that featured Lacoste's rebellious offering, featuring preppy and summer ready pieces in different color ways.
The women’s collection is divided into three categories—Acid Coral features white bikinis, cotton tops, and cut-offs; the Wild Flowers collection has cable-knit sweaters, feathery-light skirts, and skinny jeans all taking inspiration from botanical prints and folk music; and finally La Piscine, which has a wide range of pieces perfect for the pool and beach, features vintage sailor-inspired pieces, crimson bathing suits, chlorine-blue shirts, and so much more. The men’s line features the Sabali collection replete with geometric tribal prints and earthy tones; the Beach Burner collection, which is all about vintage surfer prints on button-down shirts inspired by Venice beach; and Aloha from Japan, which is driven by manga, sumo wrestling, and island surfing.
