KZ Tandingan and fiance TJ Monterde surprised netizens yesterday with their wedding announcement. The couple tied the knot last August 28 in an intimate ceremony held at The Farm at San Benito, where just a few of their close friends were present. Of course, as the uber-stylish individual that she is, KZ’s bridal look wasn’t short of amazing.

Styled by Myrrh Lao To, the 28-year-old singer walked down the aisle in a double-breasted pantsuit from Light Shine White that’s made from textured fabric. In true contemporary bridal fashion, she wore the pantsuit with nothing underneath, flaunting her decolletage.
Pantsuits have been common in modern weddings, and given KZ’s off-beat style, we weren’t surprised that she chose this route for her big day. What made her ensemble a cut above the rest though is its relaxed silhouette: Her trousers are slightly flared and cuffed at the bottom, while the fabric choice softened up the pantsuit’s sharp edges. A chic yet comfy look that matched the venue’s warmth.
What lent an intriguing twist to the soft masculine ensemble are the accessories, which included an oversized pearl necklace (very on-trend) and chunky platform sandals from Giuseppe Zanotti, kind of like a pumped-up version of Bianca Jagger’s white wedding sandals. Aside from her wedding ring from J’s Diamond, KZ wore no other jewelry, and let the ivory tones of her look be the star of the show.
To top it all off, KZ wore a gauzy veil that made her modern ensemble fit for the aisle. The two-layered piece cropped up below her buttocks before flowing into a floor-length hemline that swayed behind her, adding dynamism to her outfit. Proof that selecting the veil is a crucial part of any bridal look!
Aside from KZ’s on-point bridal pantsuit, another trendy piece was her bouquet, which was filled with flowers of warm, earthy tones that matched TJ’s brown suit.
