It's a happy, happy day: Kris Bernal and Perry Choi have officially tied the knot! After multiple postponements, their nuptials finally took place in the afternoon of September 25 in Magallanes Church, surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
When the church doors opened to reveal Kris in her full bridal regalia, we were stunned: She looked absolutely gorgeous! Framed with sunflowers all around, she looked every bit like a glowing princess. When she started crying as she floated down the aisle, we had to choke back tears, too.
The entire ceremony and mass was livestreamed via her YouTube channel, which basically gave us (and her thousands of subscribers) front-row access to her big day!
Kris wore a dazzling Mak Tumang ball gown with intricate floral beading, a sultry v-neckline, and dainty flared organza sleeves. The back of the gown was lovely, too: The illusion netting was joined by a column of crystals, which complemented her Ariana Grande-inspired Barbie ponytail with curled ends, which was done by Bianca Anne Vergara. She completed the look with a headband made of beautiful snowdrop crystals by Jacatel Jewelry & Adornments.
Renowed floral and events designer Gideon Hermosa was the one behind Kris' sunflower field theme. The whole setup looked so lush, and her dainty bright yellow bouquet fit right in!
Back in July, Kris sat down with Preview to share some exclusive details on her wedding. According to her, her gown was originally supposed to be in a serpentina cut. But she left most of the conceptualizing to Mak, who is a designer she'd always wanted to work with "Talagang nakuha niya what I envisioned and what I dreamed [about] for my wedding," she said."Siyempre tinanong ko siya kung ano yung bagay sa'kin kasi siyempre mas magaling yung mata niya, 'di ba. Sa mga body type na katulad ko na maliit, petite, payat, 'yun. Gusto namin na ma-accentuate or ma-highlight yung waist ko."
She also shared that her bridal shoes were ribboned silver heels from the luxury brand Mach and Mach, which were customized just for her! Since she wears a size five, she often found it difficult to find designers heels that fit her just right. That's why she got her wedding pair made just for her—she even sent a mold of her foot so they could get the curves just right.
As for her makeup, she went for a soft glam look with defined brows, a neutral lip, and blue-tinted shimmer on her lids, courtesy of makeup artist Carissa Cielo Medved. "Pagdating sa makeup, gusto ko fresh, gusto ko buhay na buhay eyes ko," Kris said.
It looks like her nails were in a similar hue of blue, too!
All that said, we can't wait to see the official photos!
Congratulations again, Kris and Perry!
