K-drama fans, you know that this is the comeback of comebacks. Following his nasopharyngeal cancer diagnosis in May 2017, Korean actor Kim Woo Bin has finally made his return to the public eye as a presenter at the 40th Blue Dragon Film Awards—and you can bet he did it in seriously dapper style!
Clad in a plush black velvet suit accented by a fun, slightly oversized bow tie, the Uncontrollably Fond star was met with cheers and applause as he walked on to the stage. Bowing and greeting the audience, he said with a laugh, “I’m very nervous. It’s my first time greeting everyone in a long time, so I worried a lot about what I should say. Rather than anything else, the first thing I want to say is thank you. A few years ago, my health was very poor. But so many people cheered me on and prayed for me so that I could overcome it. I’m able to greet you in good health sooner because of that.”
He then went on to present the Best Short Film award to Milk director Jang Yoo Jin. Watch the full clip, here!
