All hail the Teen Queen.
Winning the Best Dressed Couple of the Night award together with her on-screen partner Daniel Padilla, our Preview September cover girl definitely secured the throne at the recently concluded Star Magic Ball. Clad in Michael Cinco, Kathryn Bernardo simply knocked it out of the park. Behind her, a styling duo who made sure that the 19-year-old royalty got everything that she needed and more.
Below, read on and hear it straight from her stylists, Kim and Boop Yap, how they dressed up Kathryn for the ball.
“For Kathryn's gown, we spoke and coordinated with Michael Cinco online. We gave him an idea on how we want the silhouette to be, and then he sent us three sketches which really captured what Kathryn wanted.”
"We also created a chat group, including Kathryn and her entire glam team, so that we could also easily coordinate with each other about how the hair, make-up and jewelry will be. It was truly a group effort when we came up with the looks because everyone gave their feedback and then we just simply had to combine everything. "
"Fabulous hand sewn masterpiece! It's all in the details."

“For Kathryn's hair, we wanted to do a messy ponytail and have that effortless Hollywood glam look. And as for the make-up, we opted to keep it natural and just highlight her dewy, glowing skin. Then, just winged liner to complete her look!”
“For her jewelry, we went with a statement ring and a pair of dangling earrings. It’s the perfect size - it accentuates the gown and, at the same time, it's not too big so the focus is still on her face.”
“We also included a minaudiere, which is a bejeweled crystal clutch that matches her jewelry. And for her shoes, we went for an all-white look to match her gown and her date, Daniel.”
"Overall, Kathryn’s look is effortless, sleek and chic. It's Hollywood glam personified."
"For the cotillion, the color requirement was nude so we went for a dress with gold intricate beadwork made by Patricia Santos. "
“The dress looked youthful, and we also made sure it was easy to dance in.”
