ICYMI, Instagram influencer Lauren Perez got hitched earlier this month with businessman David Waltzer, and their wedding was attended by her A-list celebrity friends, including models Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid, and—last but not the least—Kendall Jenner, who was recently slammed online for allegedly trying to upstage the bride by wearing a "disrespectful" outfit.
For one of her best friends' wedding, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wore a racy black dress from New York-based brand Mônot, which features a drop-waist skirt, a bare midriff, and a set of diamond-shaped cutouts across the torso which makes for an ultra-revealing 'fit.

To state the obvious, Kendall looked stunning as always! It was certainly a great choice of dress for a party... But for a wedding reception? Well, let's just say the internet had a lot to say about it.
“I love Kendall,” says one Instagram user. “But, is she in love with the groom or something?”
Likewise, TikTok user Maia Chondria with almost 200K followers also reacted to Kendall's wedding guest attire, with her now-viral post garnering over 7.8 million views. She captioned, "Not Kendall 'pick me' Jenner wearing this to someone's wedding?"
The said post was flooded with comments echoing the disapproval and pointing out how it's "blatantly disrespectful to the bride." One wrote, "With all the award shows and parties she attends, she seriously couldn't have waited to wear that to another event??"
Another user chimed in: "Cute dress but nothing could be worse for a wedding. All that money and no class or consideration for others."
Naturally, with Twitter being the ultimate go-to for roasting celebs, the social media platform was also flocked by netizens dragging Kendall for her skin-baring black dress, claiming that she was "trying to be a headline at her friend's wedding." A user adds, "I would have had her thrown out on the streets."
While there's quite a discussion about Kendall's wedding guest attire on the internet, one thing's for certain: All that press caused a spike in sales for the controversial LBD. In fact, it's already currently sold out on Moda Operandi, despite it having a $1,450 price tag (that's approximately P73,300, btw!).
After all, love it or hate it, there's no question that Kendall totally slayed this dress!
