Kelsey Merritt’s Victoria's Secret journey has an exciting development—she finally confirms she’ll be the first Filipina to walk down the famed runway this year!
The model took the big announcement to Instagram: "We did it Philippines," she writes in her caption. "What an honor it is to be the first Filipino to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2018! Ahhhhh I can't believe this!"
Shortly after, Kelsey also shared a video clip of how she herself found out that she will be part of this year's VSFS. It was a very touching moment, so naturally, she couldn't help but shed some tears of joy.
Prior to the VSFS' initial casting and callbacks, Kelsey has been modeling for the lingerie brand and had already appeared on the VS Instagram, website, and online newsletters.
