On the heels of A Very Good Girl's massive box office success, the 27-year-old superstar was swathed in a Mark Bumgarner masterpiece for the much-anticipated event.
Looking totally chic and sleek, Kathryn was a powerful vision in a bejeweled number that showed off her svelte figure. Featuring strategically placed cut-outs on her torso area and a thigh-high slit that flaunted her toned legs, the long-sleeved turtleneck frock was a shimmery look that befits the brightest star of the night. Echoing the sparkly ensemble, stylists Kim and Boop Yap completed her jaw-dropping red carpet 'fit with platform heels bedecked with crystals. Divine!
Punctuating Kathryn's bold fashion statement was an equally stunning beauty look courtesy of her loyal glam team. Makeup artist Justine del Rosario highlighted her natural sun-kissed glow while hairstylist John Valle gave her a blunt bob disheveled to perfection.
On her Instagram, Kathryn revealed that the same fashion designer was originally supposed to make her dress for last year's ball which did not push through. With the event being canceled last minute, it took an entire year before the actress was finally able to wear Mark Bumgarner on the ABS-CBN Ball red carpet.
"Same time last year, I was supposed to wear @markbumgarner for the #ABSCBNBall. Sadly, the event was cancelled last minute and we had to let go of the vision we had in mind. But this year, the ball is finally happening and we knew right away that it had to be Mark," she wrote. "My dearest @dmbumgarner and @earlsemitara, here we go! I’m so happy to walk on the red carpet wearing your creation tonight. Thank you for being so hands-on and for accommodating all our ideas—even the most random ones."
