For your best travel photos yet!

Travel may be one of the greatest luxuries you could ever experience, but fashion girls know that packing for a trip isn't so thrilling. It's quite a grueling task to curate outfits for every single day while making sure each look is unique. It's especially difficult when you take photos for the 'gram, too (just #instahoe things!). While it's ideal to look smashing in print-on-print and color-blocking, sometimes, it's best to take the safe route and go for easy outfits that will deliver equally impressive results.

Thankfully, we have Kathryn Bernardo to give us some fashion tips on packing for a trip. In her latest vlog, she gives us a look into her intensive outfit-curating process. From there, we've picked up three key color combos that you and your Instagram feed will be thankful for.

1. Black on black

An all-black outfit is an obvious play-it-safe color combo, especially for lazy fashion girls who want to do away with the stress of curating altogether.

Kathryn put together the outfit below (her first outfit for the trip!) by starting with the dress. She then considered the cold weather and threw in the turtleneck to layer underneath the dress. To complete the look, she decided to wear her black Dr. Martens combat boots, Prada shoulder bag, and brimmed hat.

Not into dresses? Simply bring a pair of trousers or black tights (you can layer this under miniskirts for a little fun!). If you're laidback though, then a pair of black jeans should be right up your alley.

2. Camo green and black

If you love black but want to inject some color to make your 'fits interesting, why don't you try going for camo green? It's a "dark neutral" that goes well with black. Here, Kath goes for a fatigue green jumpsuit cinched with a belt and completed with a pageboy hat. We love the feminine touch that her Lady Dior handbag added. If jumpsuits aren't your style, an easy alternative would be camo green culottes paired with a black turtleneck. If camo green isn't your style though, you could try navy blue instead!

3. Gray and nude

Perhaps the most interesting look that Kath put together in the vlog was her baggy gray pantsuit. I mean, pulling off a pantsuit is tricky enough, but a baggy silhouette? Even harder! However, Kath pulled it off by embracing the silhouette's streetwear vibe by completing it with white sneakers and sunnies—very cool. The best part of it all though is her beige trench coat, which surprisingly looked really good with the gray pantsuit.

Not a fan of pantsuits? Sport a simple gray tee with jeans instead. You could also switch out the coat for something more casual like a nude anorak.
