Supermodel Karolina Kurkova Wears a Filipina-Designed Look to the "Freakier Friday" Premiere

The mini dress silhouette was first seen on the BYS Fashion Week runway.

ICYDK, Freakier Friday is hitting theaters soon. Ahead of its global release on August 8, the much-awaited sequel to the early-2000s cult favorite Freaky Friday held its Hollywood premiere on July 22. The red carpet event took place at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, California, with cast members Manny Jacinto, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, and Chad Michael Murray in attendance. The screening also drew several familiar faces, including Czech supermodel and former Victoria’s Secret Angel, Karolína Kurková.

For the occasion, the 41-year-old made her appearance in a dazzling lime-hued number. Front and center was her sparkly, straight-cut mini dress, which is actually a look by Filipina designer Patty Ang.

Styled by Kelly Brown, Karolína Kurková’s red carpet look was a study in streamlined glamour with a playful edge. The model wore a mini dress by Filipina designer Patty Ang—rendered in a fresh lime green and covered in square paillettes that gave it a light-catching finish. With its straight-cut silhouette and slender straps, the frock's clean lines were elevated by its reflective texture.

Overall, styling was kept tight and tonal. Karolína’s look came together with strappy heels in the same citrusy shade and a structured micro top-handle bag in a similar hue. Accessories were also minimal: a pair of hoop earrings and a few rings added just enough shine to let the embellished dress take center stage.

Karolína’s hair and makeup went the sleek route. Her platinum blonde hair was worn straight and tucked behind the ears, parted to one side to softly frame her face. Makeup was kept soft and glowy—shimmery lids, lightly bronzed cheeks, and a nude satin lip for a polished yet effortless finish.

In case the dress looks familiar, the same party dress silhouette first appeared in Patty’s BYS Fashion Week presentation back in October 2024, originally in a soft blush pink. That version was also previously worn by Filipina actress-entrepreneur Kylie Verzosa at a brand event.
