Meet your newest style peg.

Squid Game wouldn't be the same without the moody Kang Sae-byeok, played by Jung Ho Yeonthe 27-year-old actress and fashion model has a smoldering gaze and high-impact aura that captures your attention immediately. By now, you probably know she enjoyed an illustrious modeling career prior to her appearance (and acting debut) in the megahit series. Ho Yeon has modeled for virtually all of the Western luxury brands that dominate the fashion world today, which probably explains her notable satorial prowess.

A quick scroll through her Instagram page will reveal she has a pronounced commitment to the menswear-chic agenda, as well as a love for oddball shoes like chunky boots and dad sneakers. Her style, more often than not, leans androgynous. She favors supersized proportions oft associated with Korean fashion, and seems to have a very '90s taste in unisex jeans. In short, she should be your ultimate style peg for effortlessly cool casual outfits.

Let's jump right in! Here, 13 outfits we're totally copying from Jung Ho Yeon:

1. Here, Ho Yeon looks like she was plucked straight from a coming-of-age film. We blame it on the denim, the white sock-and-dad shoe combo, and the jersey red shirt and jacket.

2. Lived-in menswear silhouettes will always be sleek and chic. Those taut dress shoes punctuate the languid garments like an exclamation point. Additionally, we're particularly in love with the mix of both cool- and warm-toned browns.

3. Switch up your look with an unorthodox round neck velvet blazer festooned with gold buttons. Balance out the austere vibe with a mock neck ruffled blouse, ultra-casual trusty jeans, and toothy sneakers. Accessorize with a schoolgirl headband and an itty-bitty shoulder bag of your choosing.

4. Heading out on a chilly day? Wear taupe sweatpants and a sporty hybrid trench coat. And don't forget your ankle socks and sneakers! You can tag this look as elevated, reimagined athleisure.

5. If you're into artsy streetwear, you'll definitely like this look. Ho Yeon wore a tee that's interesting on two counts: Aside from the eye-catching print, the tee boasts an off-kilter shape. Though the sleeves take on the proportions of your usual oversize tee, the rest of the shirt follows a slim halter cut that clings close to the body. These unorthodox features team nicely with bermuda shorts, and, somehow, a pair of feminine slingbacks. Now you know—when sporting a blocky outfit, consider subverting the whole thing with comparatively girly shoes.

6. Here's a polished, head-to-toe Chanel take on the distressed knit trend. Ho Yeon wore a vanilla-colored vest, bright blue jeans, a bicep fanny pack, and a pearl chain bag. She further accessorized with a leather bracelet, a matching belt, and delicate stud earrings. Later on, she topped the look with a leather jacket.

7. Want to look effortlessly chic? Wear a black shirt with wide three-fourths sleeves and a pair of high waist A-line shorts. Finish off the ensemble with a wide croc belt accented with gold details.

8. If you can, invest in some head-turning combat boots that can and will rival a spaceship. Wear them with slouchy trousers, any plain white shirt, and a tailored blazer for a moody, high-impact look. Optional accessories include honey-hued sunglasses and a simple silver chain.

9. Take the previous look and trade in some key pieces to achieve a glam-grunge effect. Instead of tailored trousers, go for languid denim. Lose the blazer and don the biggest and longest leather trench coat you can find. Lastly, tie the outfit together with a chain crossbody bag.

10. As established, Ho Yeon loves colossal jackets and coverups. Who can blame her? They look so cozy! Here, she wore an army green windbreaker over a wheat knitted sweater and straight cut jeans. She toted a structured carrier with black trim, and picked a scruffy pair of big-tongued sneakers.

11. Just like the patchwork trend, deconstructed denim clothes are Instagram catnip. You've likely seen plenty of reworked denim jeans and jackets made to look like they've been loosely assembled. In this photo, Ho Yeon is wearing one such pair, and we're not going to lie—we want one for ourselves. Wear it with a trendy sweater vest, a regular old button-down, or even just your fave band tee. That unique overlap detail makes the whole look.

12. One lovable feature of Korean fashion is its uninhibitedness with regards to loose silhouettes. According to this logic, there is nothing off about wearing a dress over wide leg jeans. It's a yes from us!

13. Allow us to re-introduce you to a more low-key player in the so-called "ugly shoe" trend: The canoe sandal. It's a rounded peep-toe slide that wraps the foot like a barrel, yet shows a bit more toe than usual. It pairs chicly with long jeans and plain T-shirts of all sizes. This whole look is a very au courant nod to the '90s. What's not to love?
