Jun Ji Hyun's public appearances may be rare, but she sure knows how to make them count. Case in point: The Korean actress' attendance at the press conference for Netflix's Kingdom: Ashin of the North, which is slated to premiere this July 23.
At the event, Jun Ji Hyun (who will be playing Ashin in the special episode) debuted her gorgeous new blunt bob. The chop falls a graceful half an inch above her shoulders, and it's definitely one of the shortest cuts we've seen on the actress so far. She wore it slicked back in a side part, a simple style that let the rest of the actress' look steal the show!
The Kingdom star was decked out in Alexander McQueen from the neck down, sporting a black drawstring dress from the brand's Pre-Fall 2021 collection by Sarah Burton. The garment also features ribbons ties at the waist and shoulders, plus a sultry open back that unfortunately didn't make it to Jun Ji Hyun's pictures.
Another detail we couldnt help noticing was her choice in accessories. She skipped the earrings entirely, and went for three perfectly layered polished stone pendant necklaces and a simple black cuff.
Going back to the dress, the original version of it in the collection was actually made in a stunning red washed polytaffeta. However, last July 2, the Alexander McQueen Instagram posted a toile of the piece in black that's identical to Jun Ji Hyun's outfit. It could definitely be the exact piece, though we don't doubt that the brand would fit an entirely new piece for their Korean ambassador.

Jun Ji Hyun wrapped up her luxurious ensemble with knee high boots from the same Pre-Fall collection. The cool tread rubber sole on this pair is definitely worth switching out heels for!
