Korean actress Jun Ji Hyun has played a number of stylish characters in K-dramas. From the glammed up Cheon Song-yi in My Love from the Star to the dumpster-diving yet surprisingly chic mermaid Shim Cheong in Legend of the Blue Sea, she's often dressed in designer labels from head to toe. So it comes as no surprise that she’s been chosen as British fashion house Alexander McQueen’s newest face in Korea.
In an Instagram post by W Korea, the translated caption reads, “The Korean ambassador that Alexander McQueen has been searching for a long time has been released.” This makes Jun Ji Hyun the very first Korean endorser of the luxury British label.
For the first two Sping/Summer 2020 campaign images, the actress flaunts two of McQueen’s covetable leather bags. One is the iconic Jeweled Satchel, which is characterized by its signature skull adorning the metal handle; and the second bag is The Story Shoulder bag, a roomy and practical update for the brand’s The Story bag which was launched in December 2019.

The Story Shoulder bag just dropped at select Alexander McQueen stores yesterday, June 16, but we can already see it becoming every It girl’s next accessory to covet. Congrats to Jun Ji Hyun for getting first dibs!
