Julia says that she shared a dressing room with these girls who brought in a ton of Loubs in their shared space whereas Julia had a brought a lone non-designer pair of shoes for the event.
"I didn’t know the importance of having good quality shoes," Julia says. She even admits that she felt embarrassed at the time. "In that moment naiyak talaga ako sa dressing room. I felt embarrassed because I didn’t have good quality shoes; I didn’t have my own pair of Christian Louboutins. So, I said to myself, "I’m gonna work so hard so when we go to L.A., I’ll go to Christian Louboutin stores and buy many pairs."" And so, she did!
5. She’s very sentimental and she makes space for items that she values.
This includes keeping her very first designer bag that she bought with her own money! Julia says she can't ever part with the bag even if it's all tattered because it was the first thing she's ever gifted herself. Oh, and did you know she even has a special drawer labeled "Sentimental"? In it rests three of her late grandfather's shirts to remember him by, a rosary gifted by a fan, as well as her blankie that she's had since she was born. Awww!
Julia also holds dear a gold necklace given by her mom. The trinket has Julia's name molded to follow her mom's handwriting, too. So cute!
