It’s been a crazy year for fashion, and even on its last stretch, 2015 still pushes for more shocking revelations that leave us slack jawed. In recent news, Scottish designer Jonathan Saunders, known for his use of colorful prints and streamlined silhouettes, has announced that he will be closing down his eponymous label due to “personal reasons.”
The designer released an official statement saying:
"It is not a decision that I take lightly and I am eternally grateful to my team for all their hard work and dedication."
His business partner Eiesha Bharti Pasricha adds:
"I have thoroughly enjoyed supporting one of the most talented British designers of our times. Our decision to part ways was not easy and I wish Jonathan every success for the future."
Will this be the end of his fashion career, or will we see him taking the reins at another house? Only time will tell.
