Marine life seems to be a recurring theme on the opening night of Manila Fashion Festival Spring/Summer 2016 as another designer takes biodiversity as his muse for his latest collection. The last designer to show but certainly not the least, John Herrera sends fluorescent shocks down the runway as he adds color to sheer, body-hugging pieces that show off womanly curves with neon fringes and paillettes that simply glow in the dark, to say the least. Giving us a handful of bright party frocks and mesh jackets, John leaves us with one question waiting to be answered: Could this be the second coming of the sheer-paneled body-cons and platform wedges? Perhaps, yes.
