Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Jinri Park has finally achieved her dream of wearing a bridal gown. On Wednesday, January 5, the 33-year-old TV personality took to Instagram to share photos from her recent wedding shoot with her husband John.
The bridal gown she wore was made by Cebu-based fashion designer Jun Escario, and it seemed to be Jinri's supposed wedding gown for her Manila wedding that was set for March 2020. However, the couple decided to postpone it because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jinri and John eventually tied the knot in Australia, where the latter grew up.
Jinri wrote in the caption of her post "A lot like love [emoji] Finally!!! After years of waiting I got to wear my wedding dress made especially for me by the great @junescario (who is by the way from Cebu, where I grew up so it means a lot: Special thanks to my Tita Michelle for getting me this lovely dress [emoji])"
"I didn’t get to do my wedding but this shoot will do and will forever cherish this moment [emoji] So glad that my parents were here to join us as well!" Jinri also thanked Filipino-Australian photographer Rolfe De Guzman and hair and makeup artist Aika Kadowaki. The former model wrote, "Big thansk to @byrolfedg for taking this shoot for us!! He’s an amazing photographer and person!!! Can’t wait to upload more photos soon! Makeup and hair/grooming by @aikakadowakimua [emoji]"
Aside from their wedding in Australia, Jinri and John also had a traditional Korean wedding in South Korea in December 2019. Jinri announced their engagement through a YouTube vlog in July 2019, and introduced John in the same video. The couple said they met through mutual friends during one of Jinri's travels, where John acted as the tour guide.
After leaving showbiz, Jinri put her degree in Hotel Restaurant Management to good use as a trainee in a restaurant.
