THIS JUST IN: Local retail giant Penshoppe has a brand spanking new endorser and it’s none other than K-drama cutie Ji Soo! The brand took it to Instagram to announce the big news and we are still elated. “Oh. Hot. Damn. [Ji Soo] joins Team #Penshoppe, upping our antics this season in a hot summer flash,” Penshoppe captions its post.
“We’re very excited to have Ji Soo join Penshoppe’s growing pack of international ambassadors. He is an endearing person and the utmost professional. His boldness, confidence, and taste for fashion that’s both stylish and comfortable align well with Penshoppe,” says Jeff Bascon, Golden ABC’s Vice President for Brand Management.
The 27-year-old actor, best known for his performances in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and in Netflix’s My First First Love, stars in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2020 Campaign, which “blurs the style line between beach-inspired easy living and the increasingly ironic urban zeitgeist.” The collection features pieces perfect for transitioning into the summer season, such as utility pants, jumpsuits, vests, and printed short-sleeved shirts.
This comes after the news of Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown joining Team Penshoppe last February. The brand’s growing list of international celebrity endorsers also includes Kendall Jenner, Zayn Malik, K-drama actor Nam Joo Hyuk, and K-pop idols Sandara Park and Lisa Manoban of Blackpink.
