Last weekend, Philux furniture designer and model Jessica Kienle tied the knot with sweetheart Jesse Maxwell in Palawan, where they held a beautiful beach wedding, and, yes, it was very 'grammable (just check #jesseca2016 on Instagram). But it wasn't just the beach setting that struck our fancy, it was the glowing bride, who was part of the Preview Best Dressed list in 2014, with her simple approach that kept us glued to the hashtag.
For her face, the Jessica enlisted Mayesa delos Santos to create a barely-there makeup look. Take notes on how the natural look highlights that look of love in Jessica's eyes. All it takes is groomed eyebrows, a teensy bit of base, shimmery eye shadow on the inner corners of the eyes, and a hint of blush on the cheeks.

Kierlo Velasco, who was in charge of the bride's hair, gave her a side-parted updo adorned with flowers for the ceremony, which he later let loose into cascading waves for the reception.

But what really caught our attention was Jessica's elegant wedding dress. The simple silhouette did wonders at highlighting her svelte figure, while airy embroidered sleeves injected a touch of romance to the look. The genius behind the dress? None other than Rajo Laurel.

We asked the designer to spill on some of the bridal deets, "Jessica wanted something that was appropriate & personal. A gentle nod to her Philippine roots by way of the sheer Maria Clara sleeves and the T'boli embroidery pattern on the bodice accentuated with fine crystals. I thought that the silhouette suited her frame perfectly," Rajo shares.
And here's a closer look at the dress. Aren't the sleeves dreamy?

The designer also made the entourage gowns. "We used a variety of pale tones from taupe, sand, blush, bisque and butter, " he shares. "I used silk chiffon and draped several necklines differently for each member of the entourage. The look we wanted was based on the sarong but made more formal for the occasion."

Beach-brides-to-be take note! "For beach or destination weddings, I will always suggest to keep it simple and appropriate for the destination. Use lightweight and breathable materials as it can get warm. In my mind, less is truly more," the designer advises.
The dress (and Jessica's natural beauty) stole the show! Combine that vision and this setting? Well, you've got a match made in heaven.

Congrats to the bride and groom!
