Ladies, we're talking about the bucket hat’s return to the spotlight. The downward sloping sun hat has come a long way from its humble (and practical) beginnings in fishing boats and the babies section of the department store. From the likes of Barbara Streisand in the '60s to bad gal Riri in 2014, the bucket hat has come back as yet another artifact of the '90s revival. We don't know if it's a vocalist kind of thing, but the front act of indie group Sinyma, Jess Connelly, has also fallen for the unpretentious charm of the bucket.
The more she chopped off her long locks, the more she rocked the hat. We caught the siren nailing the hat trick from gigs, to the beach, and yes, even performances at the beach. Scroll down to see how you can steal the dope accessory.
Wear it with a tank and ripped boyfriend jeans on a casual day out.
Make like a surfer girl by pairing it with sneakers and mom jeans.
Trade in your weaved floppy for a bucket to add swag to your beach ensemble.
One thing's for sure, you can only pull it off if you have the attitude to back it up. So, would you dare to wear the bucket load of style the hat has to offer?
