The Philippine entertainment scene seems to be undergoing a renaissance, with our local talents getting constant recognition on global platforms. Just recently, a spine-tingling movie titled In My Mother's Skin had its premiere at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival. The horror flick stars a powerhouse cast of Filipino thespians, with Jasmine Curtis in the scene-stealing role of Fairy, an ominous deity.

For the film's premiere at the festival, Jasmine donned a sleek black dress that went right along with her character's sinister yet captivating aura. See her look below!

The actress walked into the cinema in a cap-sleeved, ankle-length black frock from Australian label Aje. The bottom part of its skirt had ruffled raffia in a monochrome hue, adding drama to every step Jasmine took. The theatrics continue when she turns around, as the dress' backless cut shows off her tattoo in the middle of her spine.

Teamed with the dress was a statement-making clutch by Cebuano designer Neil Felipp. It was a rectangular white case with schools of tiny metallic fishes forming the handle. Punctuating things were a pair of drop earrings from Carolina Herrera, crystal-embellished booties, and a tight braided ponytail. Drop dead gorgeous!
