James Reid has long embraced a relaxed approach to dressing, one that even includes pulling pieces from his girlfriend Issa Pressman’s wardrobe. His openness to womenswear is nothing new (see his Preview November 2024 cover), but his latest outfit takes that idea into everyday territory.

Recently, the 32-year-old was seen wearing what appears to be Issa’s jeans, and he styled them in a way that feels very much his own.

James Reid Makes a Case for Wearing Your Girlfriend’s Jeans

While heading to Coron, Palawan for a quick getaway, James kept things laid-back at the airport with an easy mix of wardrobe staples. He paired a graphic tee from Los Angeles-based golf-inspired brand Malbon with patchwork denim jeans, finishing the look with a reversed white snapback, slim gold-frame sunglasses, and a Bottega Veneta Andiamo bag in the brand’s deep brown “fondant” shade.

The jeans stood out for their distinctive patchwork design, which—upon taking a closer look—turned out to be quite familiar. Back in 2023, Issa posted a mirror selfie wearing what looks like the exact same pair, styled with a white sports bra and a shell-embellished waist chain.
