Jacob, who plays Peter Parker’s best friend Ned Leeds in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man films, spent much of his interview reflecting on his longtime friendship with Tom. He recalled that from the moment they met, the actor had been “so welcoming” and “so nice,” adding that Tom was always willing to support him, especially during the early years of his career when he was still finding his footing.

“There were a lot of times earlier in my career where I didn't really know what I was doing,” Jacob shared. “I think he was always there to be supportive of me... I know him as a person. I just know he would never talk dirty behind my back. He’s just an amazing, good person.”

He then revealed Tom’s latest gesture of friendship, saying, “I don’t want to flex too hard, but he just bought me this little Rollie. I wanted to wear it for him, because that’s my boy for life.” Jacob added that he hoped Tom “doesn't mind that I told everyone that,” before sharing that he had already shown off the watch during his bachelor party in Las Vegas. “I showed everyone this watch and they were all like, ‘Oh, that's a great watch.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, one of my closest friends got it for me.’"

The luxury watch has since become a regular part of Jacob’s rotation. He was recently spotted wearing it while throwing the ceremonial first pitch at a Miami Marlins vs. New York Mets baseball game, prompting watch enthusiasts to identify the exact model.

Although Jacob never identified the model on the podcast, the watch appears to be the Rolex GMT-Master II (Reference 126720VTNR), better known among collectors as the “Sprite.” According to Rolex, it carries a retail price of P728,000, making it a particularly generous gift from Tom.

Introduced in 2022, the model quickly stood out for its green-and-black Cerachrom ceramic bezel and unusual left-handed layout, with the winding crown and date window moved to the left side of the case. It's also one of the few Rolex watches to feature this configuration.

Beyond its distinctive design, the GMT-Master II was created with travelers in mind. Its signature 24-hour hand and bidirectional rotating bezel allow the wearer to track two time zones at once, while practical features such as a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a 70-hour power reserve, 100-meter water resistance, and Rolex’s signature Oyster bracelet round out one of the brand’s most recognizable sports watches.
